Joint ENFSI board meeting with the ENFSI Working Group chairs

On December 01 – 02, 2011 the Chairs of the ENFSI Expert Working Groups (EWG) met with the ENFSI Board at the annual, so-called Joint Meeting. The meeting took place at the Netherlands Forensic Institute in The Hague.

This was an excellent opportunity for the local organisers of EAFS2012 to meet with the EWG Chairs and discuss  their particular roles with respect to EAFS2012. Wim Neuteboom and Gerard van der Peijl (representing the Organisers and the Scientific Committee respectively) gave presentations on the latest developments, focusing on the Scientific Program. The EWG Chairs demonstrated much interest and enthusiasm in undertaking an active role in the conference. Various contributions (oral presentations, interactive workshops, demonstrations and discussion panels) from the 16 expert fields covered by the EWGs are expected. Finally, the conference venue (Haagse Hogeschool) was visited. The EWG Chairs were impressed by the building and its possibilities for hosting the conference
